Introduction to Herbal Studies

In this 8-week “Introduction to Herbal Studies for Youth!” course, students will have the opportunity to learn the ABCs of studying herbs! Students will be introduced to a range of common herbs and how they can be used to promote health and wellness. Throughout this course, students will learn how to identify different plants, how to make herbal remedies such as teas and salves, and how to use herbs to support the body's natural healing processes. You will also explore the history and cultural significance of herbal medicine, and how it has been used for centuries to support health and well-being. 

We hope that this course will inspire our youth to continue learning about the natural world and to explore the many benefits of herbal medicine for year's to come. Let’s get started!

Classes designed for students ages 10 and up!
