The Village Experience

This 12-week class bundle incorporates our influence across History, Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Finance disciplines. For approximately 2 1/2 hours each week, you and your child will be immersed in these subjects from the perspective that exalts and uplifts our identity. The students will learn:

  • Our History: This Revolution covers the true story of how civilization began in Africa, our Motherland. Journey with us as we discover many brilliant ancient civilizations across the continent and learn about their kingdoms and lasting contributions to the world.

  • Math Exploration: We explore mathematical concepts introduced through various African cultures (Session 1 & 2). 

  • Language Arts: Students are taught to develop and exercise logic, reasoning, and critical thinking skills through our detailed logic curriculum. Students will be able to discover errors in logic, explain why, and repair the holes in broken reasoning.

  • Finance: Preparing our children to be self-sufficient short and long term, is essential for our community. Students will be coached through the ins and outs of personal finance through wise budgeting, saving, investing, and community building.

  • Science: This year, students will explore the wonderful world of biological science including cells, bacteria, diffusion. Students are invited to make observations, conduct experiments, and provide their findings in class.
